Ascot Park Primary students from our year 6 class will be visiting our local Kindy Ascot Park Kindergarten to run some hands on science experiments. We have been working on understanding the difference between a physical change experiment and a chemical change experiment. We have found these experiments to be lots of fun so now it it is time for them to become the teacher. They have planned an experiment to suit a kindy audience. Next steps will be to practice their demonstrations on our reception and year one students to ensure the experiment works and clearly shows either a physical or chemical change. They have written up simple explanations to explain the science behind the changes that can be seen. During science week we will visit our local kindy to perform our show for them.
