Questacon’s Engineering is Elementary team are bringing a FREE STEM professional learning workshop you this August. Explore the mechanical engineering behind windmills and equip yourself with hands-on activities to use in your classroom.

Engineering is Elementary workshops are designed to help you:  

• Get hands-on experience with the activities in our integrated STEM unit of work ‘Catching the Wind: Designing Windmills’.  

• Learn how to build students’ knowledge of STEM content to meet the learning needs of your students. 

• Gain the confidence to teach STEM in your classroom through the Engineering Design Process. 

• Access free resources to bring STEM alive in your classroom.

This workshop is best suited to primary school teachers but can also be beneficial to other educators. 

The workshop is free, but bookings are essential.
