How can a tiny seed help create a greener school? During National Science Week, students will investigate the science of plant growth while helping to improve their school environment.

Through hands-on propagation activities, students will explore what seeds need to germinate and grow into healthy plants. They will learn about plant life cycles, make observations, collect data, and discover how scientists study living things.

Students will propagate seeds that will later be planted around the school grounds. As the plants grow, they will help increase biodiversity, provide habitat for local wildlife, and create more attractive outdoor learning spaces for students to enjoy.

This project connects science learning with real-world action. By growing plants from seed and contributing to the school environment, students will see how scientific knowledge can be used to care for ecosystems and make a positive impact in their community.

From a tiny seed to a thriving plant, students will discover that small actions can lead to big changes.
