We are celebrating National Science Week by having a collaborative STEM day for Kindergarten to Year 2 students across the Dungog District, centred on this year's school theme, "Seeds of Science: nurturing knowledge for all".

We will engage students in a range of interactive science workstations that foster curiosity, inquiry, and hands-on exploration. Activities will include planting seeds, simple experiments, and creative projects that illustrate how scientific knowledge grows through nurturing, collaboration, and innovation.

These activities will impact student learning outcomes by developing foundational STEM skills such as observation, questioning, and problem-solving in an engaging, age-appropriate format. By bringing together geographically dispersed schools, we encourage sustained participation in STEM through shared experiences and collaborative learning beyond the classroom.
